Hey y'all:)

Here are some of the poems I've written. I simply love poetry. Up until recently i really disliked it, I had a hard time writing it and could never come up with anything. But, now, I love it! Poetry can capture ones feelings in rhyming and flowing words-- I just love it! Here are some I've written:)
 
 What you feel.
What is it you feel
when you look at me?
Perhaps the fluttering in your belly
like a birds wings in a tree?

Or perhaps it jumps
like a hopping frog's legs,
or it's maybe a warm feeling
Like snuggling down in a bed.

I can't know for sure
but if its what I hope;
it's that I make you feel strong
or maybe like soaring,
or even singing
a doves happy song.

Maybe its butterflies
or bat's wings
I hope that you feel something pleasant
when you look at me


    My Savior, my King
My Savior, my King
Your clothed in majesty

wonder and spender
crown your head

and Your hand reaches down
to calm my dread

I can feel You all around
and my heart breaks for You

Why can't I see
all that you do for me?

My savior, my King
Clothed in majesty

Hold me close
let me hear your heart beat

Oh it calms my dread
and just as you said
I feel alive in You!


    My Place
My place is a wonderful place
where green grass grows
and a blue sky hangs low

People dance
people sing
All in honor
of my place's Glorious King

He sits on his throne
His white robes flow
We wipe His feet
and hug him so

But then the King rises
and comes to play
where the green grass grown
and the sky hangs low

And we realize
with our hearts beating fast
We'll never be apart from our King, the
One Immanuel
Even as the days pass

but as I conclude
and speak of my dwelling
I realize this place, with my heart swelling,
is not only mine, but to all those who believe
It's Ours!
And its called Heaven♥
